Hansen, Hunter &
Company, P.C. is a firm of 28 professionals, including 14 certified public
accountants, 3 clinical nurse consultants, and 1 physical therapist consultant specializing in the retirement
and long-term health care industry.
Each partner, staff accountant and consultant has substantial experience in
the health care field.
We currently audit over
fifty CCRC’s, assisted living and elderly housing projects through out the
United States and Canada. Our client base is
composed primarily of retirement centers and skilled and intermediate
long-term care facilities.
We also serve home health care providers, clinics and other service
oriented businesses. The firm
currently represents more than 250 facilities in approximately 30 States.
The
services to our clients include audits - regular, OMB A-133, HUD, State Housing
and 401(K) - review and compilation reports, Medicare and Medicaid cost
reports and analyses, monthly
financial statements and analysis letters, tax returns and special projects
(budgets, accounting systems and rate reviews).
We prepare cost reports and do general accounting
work for both for-profit and not-for-profit nursing facilities, Home Health
Agencies, and other Post-Acute Care Providers throughout the United States.
