OIG 2012 Work Plan

The office of Inspector General (OIG) has released their annual work plan for 2012.  A new focus will be a review of nursing home implementation of the CMS compliance plans required under section 6102 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA).  This section of the ACA requires CMS to issue regulations by 2012 and SNFs to have plans that meet such requirements on or after 2013.
