Alicia Moore MSOT, RAC-CT

Clinical Consultant | Occupational Therapist

Alicia has been a certified Occupational Therapist with over sixteen years of experience working in both long-term care and hospital environments. She has worked in adult and pediatric inpatient acute care, acute rehabilitation and long term care settings. During her career Alicia worked in a management capacity for more than ten years, eight of which were in a long- term care setting. She assisted in the launch and opening of an acute rehabilitation unit for a large hospital in Chicago. As a manager she monitored and audited documentation to ensure that therapy and industry standards were met, assisted with staff development and education, and created and implemented hands on training to ensure that her therapists delivered the highest quality therapy possible. After leaving Chicago and moving to Indianapolis, Alicia served as a Program Director in long term care where her focus was on developing a quality rehabilitation department. She has served as a mentor and resource for other program directors in both Indianapolis and Chicago. Her hands on management approach has provided her with the unique opportunity to understand the role of therapy services under the complex rules and regulations of Medicare.
